American Rheumatology Network (ARN) is a trusted industry partner and group purchasing organization dedicated to supporting independent, community-based practices. Through our network, members have access to best business practices, innovative practice performance technology, and value-based treatment pathways.

The ARN Strategic Account Manager acts as the communication connection between American Rheumatology Network and their clients within the network across a designated region with the country. This role will include serving as a point of contact for clients, building customer and company relationships, and generating optimum service lines for clients and for their medical practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Establishes new relationships while maintaining existing relationships with practice administrators and physicians across the nation
• Represents the voice of the customer and serves as an extension of the practice for existing membership
• Understands and articulates contract metrics to participate / conduct quarterly business review with practice leaders to maximize rebates and provide economic impact analyses
• Assists in the execution of all organizational events including the ARN educational and promotional summits
• Builds relationships with external and internal industry partners to include wholesaler business development and account management executives, pharmaceutical directors and sales representatives, physicians, and practice leaders
• Assists with technology platforms as value-added services for members
• Represents organization at industry events and trade shows
• Other duties as directed by CEO
• Travel up to 10%

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ Degree in business administration, finance or closely related discipline required and a minimum of 1 year in healthcare sales or finance required.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) as well as exhibited strengths in data analytics and analysis.
• Exhibited organizational skills, with strong skills in leading initiatives with a focus on quality and a willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters’ Degree in business administration, finance, or closely related discipline
• Experience working in healthcare or healthcare related field
