Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Data Analyst
American Rheumatology Services (ARS) is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Data Analyst to join its fast-growing, high-performing team. The RCM Data Analyst will analyze, interpret, and present financial and operational data related to the revenue cycle. This role is critical in identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and enhance the overall performance of the revenue cycle operations. RCM Data Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Lead complex analysis of revenue cycle metrics, including charge capture, billing, coding, claims, denials, payments, and collections.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports to monitor performance and support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, billing, coding, and clinical teams to identify and resolve revenue cycle issues.
- Use data to uncover root causes of denials, delays, and variances in accounts receivable, translating findings into actionable business strategies.
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for leadership with actionable and strategic insights.
- Lead initiatives to develop and implement process improvements and automation solutions to enhance data integrity, workflow efficiency, and revenue integrity.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Mentor and guide staff across departments in data interpretation and best practices.
- Other duties as directed by ARN. As the organization’s needs change, responsibilities in this role may shift or expand accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle analytics or healthcare data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle workflows and systems (e.g., eCW, NextGen, Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, etc.), with the ability to integrate and interpret data across platforms.
- Experience with data, reporting, and analytics within clearinghouses (e.g. Waystar, Trizetto, Availity, etc.).
- Experience in a hospital or multi-specialty physician group setting.
- Advanced understanding with CMS guidelines, payer requirements, and medical billing standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions through data insights and communicate complex analyses to executive stakeholders.
- Willingness to collaborate and wear additional hats as needed
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, self-directed, and highly analytical.
- Additional duties as directed by the CFO.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel and proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages is a plus.

Service Account Manager
American Rheumatology Services (ARS) is seeking a Service Account Manager to join its fast-growing, high-performing team. The Service Account Manager will onboard new customers into our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, ensure an optimized EMR set-up and workflow, communicate and monitor the new workflow with our offshore team, and assist with day-to-day Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) duties as needed. All tasks related to this position are to be done in a manner consistent with ARN’s philosophy, mission, and vision.

Service Account Manager Job Responsibilities:
New Customer Onboarding
- Support the onboarding process for new Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) customers
- Implement ARS’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists for optimized customer workflows and PM set-up
- Identify potential gaps or discrepancies in the customer’s workflow and assist in identifying and implementing improved processes
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to implementation processes, configurations, and best practices
- Monitor implementation progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Provide post-implementation support before transitioning the customer account to steady-state account management teams
Offshore Team Support & Communication
- Communicate, train, and support our offshore RCM team on customers’ SOP nuances and customized workflows
- Include clear documentation of the customized workflows in SOP templates
- Conduct detailed walkthroughs of new workflows for offshore team leads and other relevant team members
- Serve as a point of contact for questions and troubleshooting related to the workflow
- Monitor offshore team performance and adherence to the new workflow through audits and KPIs
- Communicate updates or refinements to the workflow promptly and effectively
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Support
- Assist with current RCM accounts by answering offshore team queries for services including but not limited to: charge entry, payment posting, insurance accounts receivable, copay assistance, patient accounts receivable, and patient phone calls
- Serve as a coding expert to guide both offshore teams and client practices in implementing coding best practices and optimized workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Support Customer Success team by providing technical insights for customer queries or concerns
- Identify query trends for offshore team training opportunities
- Other duties as directed by the Customer Success Director.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the medical field, with a focus on revenue cycle management.
- Advanced experience with EMR/EHR software, in particular EClinicalWorks and NextGen
- Required: Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills; communicates clearly and effectively
- Work independently within established procedures
- A firm understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Travel up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications:
- AAPC Certified Rheumatology Coder certification (CRHC)
- 2+ years of experience in Rheumatology billing
